SALAH LEFT OUT OF LIVERPOOL SQUAD FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CLASH AMID RISING TENSIONS

MOHAMED SALAH, the top player for Liverpool, has been left out of the team's squad for the Champions League match against Inter Milan on Tuesday. This decision comes despite Salah participating in training on Monday. The move is linked to his recent comments where he said he felt "thrown under the bus" by manager Arne Slot and the club's leadership after being left out of the starting line-up for the third time in a row in the 3-3 draw with Leeds United.

Salah was in a positive mood during the team's last training session, but it has been reported that the club's top officials, including Slot, have chosen not to include him in the squad traveling to the game.
Slot is set to speak at his press conference on Monday evening, where he is expected to tackle the growing tension around Salah's comments for the first time.

Even though Salah still has 19 months left on his £400,000-a-week contract, which he signed in April, there are increasing whispers that Liverpool might try to sell him as early as the January transfer window.
The club seems to be backing Slot strongly, and Salah's absence from the squad is seen as a sign of the club's changing attitude towards his future.

Several clubs in the Saudi Pro League have been interested in Salah for a while, and a move to the Middle East is considered his most probable next step.

Salah once mentioned having serious discussions with SPL representatives before deciding to extend his contract with Liverpool, calling the opportunity "very good" and suggesting the transfer would have happened if he hadn't renewed his deal.
