PRIME MINISTER Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba Has Directed The Ministry Of Home Affairs To Reopen The Ufufuo Na Uzima Church And Other Religious Institutions That Were Previously Closed, Placing Them Under A Six-Month Period Of Official Monitoring.
Dr. Mwigulu Emphasized That Government Actions Should Not Punish Entire Religious Communities For The Mistakes Of Individual Leaders.
He Stated, “If A Sheikh Makes A Mistake, The Mosque Should Not Be Punished. And If A Bishop Errs, Believers Should Not Be Denied Their Right To Worship.”
The Directive Aims To Protect The Constitutional Rights Of Worshippers While Ensuring Accountability And Proper Oversight Of Religious Institutions.
