A STUDENT At The University Of Dodoma (Udom), Said Kabuga, Has Died After Falling Into A Well, With Reports Indicating That He Was Afraid Of Losing A Lot Of Money In A Gambling Game.
Dodoma Regional Police Commander, Gallus Hyera, Has Confirmed The Incident, Saying Initial Reports Indicate That He Threw Himself Into The Well.
The Incident Occurred On The Night Of Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Where Phones And Other Devices Were Found On Top Of The Well.
"It Is True That We Have The Information, But What Shows That He Threw Himself Into The Well In Preparation And There Are Still Things We Are Investigating," Said Commander Hyera.
According To His Classmates, Kabuga Was In His Second Year Studying A Bachelor Of Journalism And Public Relations And Was Said To Have Had No Problems Throughout His Life During His First Year At The University.
"Please Don't Write My Name, But A Guy Gambled Away The Fee Money Yesterday And Later Started Complaining About What Would Happen To His Parents, He Wasn't Even Able To Eat Dinner Because Of The Fear," Said One Of The Students.
