🚨 ETO’O RETURNS TO POWER AT FECAFOOT WITH A LANDSLIDE VICTORY. ‼️

SAMUEL ETO’O FILS, The Former Barcelona And Cameroon National Team Striker, Has Been Re-Elected As President Of The Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) For A Second Consecutive Term. In The Election Held In Mbankomo Near Yaoundé, Eto’o Received 85 Out Of 87 Votes, With Only Two Votes Being Invalid.

Eto’o, Who First Took Office In 2021, Returned To The Position Amid A Tense Election Environment With The Ministry Of Sports, Which Tried To Stop It. However, Fecafoot Insisted That Its Process Followed Fifa’s International Procedures.

Two Of His Fellow Candidates, Yianick Heumo Leudjeu And Georges Kalgong, Were Initially Disqualified, Leaving Eto’o As The Sole Candidate. The Move Gave Him A Comfortable Victory But Has Also Sparked Debate About The Future Of Football Leadership In The Country.
