FC BARCELONA continued their La Liga fire with a 3–1 win over Alavés at the new Spotify Camp Nou. The win took Barca to 34 points from 14 matches, two ahead of Real Madrid, who have a game in hand.
Barca looked solid throughout, combining the speed of their youngsters with the experience of their senior players to finish the job in front of their fans. Alavés fought back, but were unable to break the hosts' dominance.
The win gives Barcelona a boost of confidence in their season-long campaign, where every game is a test to show they still have the grit to dominate Spain.
