THE Songwe Regional Police Force Is Pursuing Suspects Involved In The Brutal Killing Of Mwakasyeghe Mwiputege Ndile, A 60-Year-Old Resident Of Ngomolo Hamlet, Mbebe Ward, Bulambya Division, Ileje District, In Songwe Region.
According To Police Reports, The Incident Occurred On October 10, 2025, At Around 12:00 A.M., When The Victim Was Attacked And Fatally Wounded With A Sharp Object To The Head And Neck. He Was Ambushed While Walking Home At Night After Leaving A Nearby Club And Was Killed Just A Short Distance From His Residence.
Authorities Are Currently Investigating The Motive Behind The Killing In Order To Identify All Those Involved And Ensure That Legal Action Is Taken Against Them.
The Regional Police Commander Stated That An Intensive Manhunt Is Underway To Identify And Apprehend The Suspects So They Can Be Brought To Justice. The Police Are Calling Upon All Residents Of Songwe Region To Remain Calm As Investigations Continue And To Cooperate With Law Enforcement By Providing Any Information That Could Assist In Identifying And Arresting The Perpetrators.
