THE Mbeya Regional Police Are Holding Tatuzo Yohana Mzumbwe, A Resident Of Masoko, In Connection With The Alleged Murder Of His Stepmother, Mary Yohana (61), Whom He Reportedly Attacked With A Machete, Fatally Striking Her On The Head.
The Incident Occurred On October 6, 2025, At Around 8:00 AM In Mapinduzi Village, Masoko Ward, Isangati Division.
According To Police, Preliminary Investigations Suggest The Motive Behind The Killing Was A Family Dispute Over Inheritance, With The Suspect Reportedly Demanding A Share Of Property Left By His Late Father.
Authorities Have Stated That The Suspect Will Be Brought To Court Once Investigations Are Complete.
