A STRANGE Incident Occurred In Arusha On The Night Of October 11, 2025, Where A Police Officer, Omary Mnandi (30) Was Killed On Suspicion Of Being A Thief
The Incident Occurred At Around 11:00 Pm At A Local Bar Called Simaloi, Located In The Kaloleni Area Of Arusha. According To Police Reports, Mnandi, Who Was Living In The City, Got Into A Stolen Car Believing It Was His And Slept Inside.
The Arusha Regional Police Commander, Sacp Justine Masejo, Has Stated That Initial Investigations Indicate That After Discovering Mnandi In The Car, Several People Suspected Him Of Wanting To Steal The Car. They Then Attacked Him With A Heavy Object, Leading To His Death At The Scene.
So Far, Five Suspects Are Being Held By The Police In Connection With The Murder, And Investigations Are Ongoing. Commander Masejo Has Stressed That Legal Action Will Follow Once The Investigation Is Completed.
The Officer's Body Is Currently Being Kept At The Mount Meru Regional Referral Hospital Morgue While Burial Procedures Are Ongoing.
