THE Minister For Community Development, Gender, Women, And Special Groups, Dr. Dorothy Gwajima, Has Strongly Condemned An Incident In Which A Woman Physically Attacked Another Woman, Following A Viral Video Showing The Assault Taking Place In A Business Area.

In A Statement Shared On Her Instagram Page Today, October 21, 2025, Dr. Gwajima Described The Act As Degrading And Contrary To Community Morals, Saying It Undermines The Dignity And Respect Of Women.

She Noted That The Government Has Already Implemented The Guidelines For Preventing Violence In Business Areas, Aimed At Stopping Such Acts In Markets And Other Trading Environments.

Dr. Gwajima Urged Citizens Who Know The People Involved To Report Them Through The Number 0765 345777 So That Proper Legal Action Can Be Taken. She Also Called On The Public To Refrain From Taking The Law Into Their Own Hands And Instead Follow Legal Procedures To Build A Peaceful, Respectful, And Caring Society.
