Zimbabwe came back to draw 1-1 with Angola in their AFCON group match in Marrakech. Angola began well and took the lead in the first half when Gelson Dala scored after some pressure, finishing the chance with a close-range shot despite several early attempts by Angola that were saved by Zimbabwe's goalkeeper, Washington Arubi.

Zimbabwe improved as the game went on and equalized late in the first half when Knowledge Musona scored with a low shot across the goal. In the second half, both teams had good chances, and Arubi and Angola's Hugo Marques made important saves to keep the game balanced.
The match ended without a winner, leaving Angola with a tough path to qualify ahead of their next game against Egypt. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, now need to beat South Africa in their final group game to have a chance of advancing.
