The three-day talks on the Ukraine situation came to an end on Sunday, involving the U.S., Ukraine, and European representatives in Florida.
U.S. presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff shared on the social media platform X that the meetings were "productive and constructive."
Witkoff noted that the talks centered around important documents, including the continued development of a 20-point plan.
He emphasized that discussions were focused on setting timelines and planning the order of future actions. "We are working constructively and in detail. We hope for more progress and real results," said Rustem Umerov, the main Ukrainian negotiator, on Telegram.
After the talks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for more consultations with European allies.
"We're moving quickly, and our team in Florida has been working closely with the American side," Zelensky said on Telegram.
In another post on X, Witkoff also highlighted the outcomes of a separate U.S.-Russia meeting.
"In the past two days in Florida, Russian Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev had productive and constructive meetings with the American delegation to push forward President Trump's peace plan for Ukraine," Witkoff wrote.
Although no major breakthroughs were announced from the Miami talks, Russian forces have been making steady progress on the battlefield.
In the past week, Zelensky reported that Russia launched about 1,300 attack drones, nearly 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 9 different types of missiles against Ukraine.
In the eastern Sumy region, Russian troops have crossed into Ukraine and taken 50 people from a local village, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
This marks a continued Russian presence in some villages in the Sumy area over the past few months.
Separately, Dmitriev hinted at a potential meeting between Russia and the U.S. in Moscow after the talks in Miami.
Dmitriev posted a selfie on his X account against a Miami sunset. In the photo, he is wearing a white T-shirt with the Russian coat of arms, and the message beneath reads: "Next time in Moscow," with Russian President Vladimir Putin's signature.
