In recent days, unsatisfactory performance has been noted at Temeke Hospital including the shutdown of the X-Ray machine, where also the secret monitoring of the Minister of Health, Hon.Mohamed Mchengerwa has revealed the presence of blatant corruption without fear from some dishonest guards to some service providers and bad statements made by the guards and service providers to patients.

In addition, they have been shouting at patients and humiliating them contrary to their work ethics.
Following this situation, Hon. Mchengerwa has directed the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Seif Shekalaghe, to conduct a thorough investigation at the Hospital to determine the source of these challenges and ultimately take action in accordance with the rules and regulations of the service against those who are found to be involved or causing these challenges.
In addition, Hon. Mchengerwa has called on all health sector employees in the country to change and that the Government will not hesitate to take action against negligent, corrupt employees or those who violate the principles of work ethics.
