Recently, there was a lot of noise around Salah after he made strong comments following a 3-3 draw between Liverpool and Leeds United.

However, things settled down on Saturday when Salah helped his team win 2-0 against Brighton, showing he's in good form ahead of a big month in Morocco.

Now, Salah is all set to chase his first Africa Cup of Nations title with Egypt, starting their campaign against Zimbabwe on December 22nd.

This is another important step in a challenging journey for the 33-year-old, who has had some tough moments on the international stage.

This time, with players like Omar Marmoush and Mostafa Mohamed supporting him, Salah is more determined than ever to make up for past disappointments and bring Egypt back to the top of African football.

Salah's journey has had its ups and downs.

He made his debut for Egypt in 2011 and had to wait until 2017 for his first Africa Cup of Nations, after missing out on the tournaments in 2012, 2013, and 2015. Egypt had a successful run from 2006 to 2010, winning three consecutive Africa Cups under players like Ahmed Hassan and Mohamed Aboutrika.

Salah was always trying hard to qualify, scoring 29 goals in his first 46 caps from September 2011 to the end of 2016.

He then played a major role in Egypt's run to the final of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, where they lost to Cameroon in a dramatic final. His two goals and two assists in the tournament earned him a place in the CAF Team of the Tournament.

After the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, Salah moved to Liverpool for a big fee.

He had a sensational debut season at Anfield and was in top form. Everyone expected him to lead Egypt to a great result at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
