MANCHESTER UNITED BOSS RUBEN AMORIM ACCEPTS CRITICISM FROM CLUB'S FORMER PLAYERS

MANCHESTER United's manager, Ruben Amorim, acknowledged the criticism from some of the club's former players but said his team is being judged without having all the information. United are currently in eighth place in the league and have only two wins in their last six matches.

Last week, former midfielder Paul Scholes said Amorim wasn't the right person to lead the club because he didn't understand it. When asked about the comments, Amorim told reporters: "No, it's not about winning — it's about not winning.

If I was winning, I could go into games on a horse, arrive with just two defenders, and everything would be fine." He added, speaking ahead of Monday's league match against Bournemouth: "The problem is that as a manager, I'm not doing enough, and that's a fact.

So that's the only issue — I'm not doing enough as Manchester United's manager, and we're underperforming. We should have more points, especially this season. I accept that naturally.

Sometimes, former players don't have all the information and they see Manchester United with the standards they lived here — always winning. So it's hard for them to see their club in this situation."
