LIVERPOOL MIDFIELDER CURTIS JONES REVEALS MOHAMED SALAH HAS APOLOGISED FOLLOWING INTERVIEW

MOHAMED SALAH, the Egyptian forward from Liverpool, said sorry to his teammates after a heated interview he had recently. Curtis Jones, who plays as a midfielder, shared this on Friday during an interview with Sky Sports. Jones said Salah had talked to the team to explain what he said, making it clear that the situation didn't cause any problems in the team's dressing room and that the players are still all united.

Jones explained, "Mo is his own person and he can say what he wants.

He apologized to us and said, 'If I've upset anyone or made you feel any way, I apologize.' That's the kind of person he is."

In his explosive comments after a Premier League draw with Leeds United on December 6th, the 33-year-old Salah criticized the club and coach Arne Slot.

He said he felt like he was being blamed for the team's poor start to the season and hinted that he might not be at Anfield for much longer.

Liverpool, who won the title last season, are currently in seventh place in the Premier League with 26 points, 10 points behind the top team, Arsenal.

Earlier on Friday, Slot said there were no ongoing issues with Salah, even though Salah was left out of the squad for their 1-0 Champions League win against Inter Milan on December 9th.

Salah came on as a substitute and helped set up a goal in Liverpool's 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion over the weekend.

He then left for the Africa Cup of Nations.
