Bobby De Cordova-Reid started the game strongly with an early stunning goal on Filbert Way, and Fatawu followed up with an incredible goal of his own.

He scored from inside his own half before halftime, showing his skill and bravery. Ghana's Jordan Ayew added a third goal early in the second half, but Ipswich's Jens Cajuste tried to create a late comeback.

However, Leicester's strong defense kept the points for the Foxes. The real highlight of the game was Fatawu’s goal. The 21-year-old Ghanaian winger picked up the ball deep in his own half, saw the Ipswich goalkeeper off his line, and then hit a left-footed strike from around 65 yards out. The ball flew over the goalkeeper and into the net.

After the match, Cifuentes spoke highly of Fatawu, not just for his goal, but also for his overall contribution. He said, "It's a fantastic goal from a very good player and a very important player for us," as reported by Leicester City's website. He added, "We're very happy for him.

Abdul showed his quality, not only with the goal but also with his attacking output and how much he helps the team defensively when they don't have the ball. "It shows he is completely committed.

He knows he has something with the team, and he has to work with that. I'm sure he is going to get the reward." Fatawu has played 21 games for Leicester, scoring four goals and providing six assists so far.
