Franculino: centre-forward linked with Bayern Munich move in Germany

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing FC Midtjylland's striker Franculino, and the chances of a transfer are currently considered to be about 50% based on the latest information.

The 21-year-old forward, who plays for Guinea-Bissau and also has Portuguese citizenship, is getting attention because his value has gone up a lot.

His current market value is €22 million. Bayern are keeping an eye on him as they look for new options in attack for the future.

Franculino is still under contract with Midtjylland, but there's no specific end date listed, which means he could potentially move either for a big fee or later on as a free agent if his contract isn't extended.

Right now, any move to the Bundesliga is just a rumor, and no official deal has been made between the clubs.

The left-footed player, who wears the number 7 jersey at Midtjylland, has had a fast rise since leaving Benfica's youth setup.

He started in Benfica's U17, then U19, and U23 teams before joining Midtjylland in 2023. His value has gone from €1.2 million in September 2023 to €22 million as of mid-December 2025.

Franculino has played in Denmark's top league after growing up in Portugal, giving him experience in two European leagues by the age of 21.

He was born in Bissau on June 28, 2004, and is 1.86 meters tall. He's seen as a modern central striker who plays mainly in the middle of the attack.

If Bayern decide to move forward with their interest, it would be a big step for Franculino and could help him develop even faster. This could change how he's seen in European football and shape his career in the long run.
