Both Jose Bordalas, currently coaching Getafe, and Inigo Perez, who is in charge of Rayo Vallecano, are being discussed as possible options at Selhurst Park.
Bordalas is returning for a second spell at Getafe, and his current contract will end at the end of the season.
Perez, on the other hand, took over at Rayo Vallecano after Andoni Iraola left for Bournemouth.
Iraola had hoped to take Perez with him, but that didn't work out due to work permit issues. As a result, Rayo appointed Perez as Iraola's replacement, and he has since done well in that role.
