Here are the key confirmed details about the production and cast.

Release Date: December 18, 2026.

The Villain: The movie brings in Victor von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom, as the main bad guy in the Marvel universe.

This changes the focus from the previously planned Kang the Conqueror.

Direction: The film will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who made the movies Infinity War and Endgame.

Confirmed Stars to Appear:

The cast of Avengers: Doomsday is expected to be one of the biggest in movie history, with a mix of old favorites and new heroes.

Robert Downey Jr. is making a surprise return, but this time he will play the villainous Doctor Doom instead of his usual role as Tony Stark.

Chris Evans is also coming back as Steve Rogers, but it's not yet clear if he's the original Captain America or a version from another timeline.

The New Avengers: Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), and Simu Liu (Shang-Chi) have all been confirmed to appear.

Cosmic and Fantastic Four Heroes: The film will include the new Fantastic Four cast, featuring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

It will also include Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

While some plot details are still being kept secret, the movie is expected to bring together heroes from different timelines to fight a major threat that could affect everything in the universe.
