THE Executive Secretary Of The National Examinations Council Of Tanzania (NECTA), Professor Said A. Mohamed, Has Officially Announced The Results Of The 2025 Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). The Announcement Was Made Today, November 5, 2025, In Dar Es Salaam.
According To The Released Results, A Total Of 937,581 Candidates, Representing 81.80% Of The 1,146,164 Candidates Who Sat For The Examination, Have Passed. The Results Reflect A Continued Upward Trend In National Academic Performance And Underscore The Government’s Ongoing Efforts To Strengthen The Education Sector.
Professor Mohamed Commended The Students, Teachers, And Education Stakeholders For Their Dedication And Contribution To This Year’s Success. He Noted That The Results Demonstrate Improved Teaching Quality, Access To Learning Materials, And Student Engagement Across The Country.
The Ministry Of Education And NECTA Encouraged Students Who Passed To Prepare For The Next Stage Of Their Academic Journey—Secondary Education—While Reaffirming Their Commitment To Ensuring Fairness, Transparency, And Quality In The National Examination Process.
