A Raging Fire Of Unknown Origin Has Destroyed Several Shops In The Cool Breez Area, Near The Petrol Afrika Station In Kahama Municipality, Shinyanga Region, Tanzania. The Blaze Broke Out Late On Saturday Night, October 25, 2025, Causing Extensive Damage To Property.
According To Eyewitnesses, The Fire Began Around 9:00 P.M., At A Time When Most Of The Shops Had Already Closed For The Day. Thick Smoke And Flames Were Seen Engulfing The Buildings, Sending Residents And Business Owners Rushing To The Scene In Shock And Panic.
Fire And Rescue Teams Quickly Arrived And Are Continuing Efforts To Extinguish The Flames And Prevent The Fire From Spreading To Nearby Fuel Storage Areas And Other Buildings. Their Immediate Priority Has Been To Contain The Blaze And Salvage Whatever Property Can Be Saved.
Authorities Have Yet To Determine The Cause Of The Fire, And An Investigation Is Expected To Begin Once The Situation Is Brought Under Control. No Casualties Have Been Reported So Far, But Losses Are Estimated To Be Significant.
