Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, was dealing with a public intoxication charge in the months before her death, as shown in court records.

Jones was discovered dead at the Fairmont San Francisco a few days ago.
The police audio later suggested the death might have been due to a suspected overdose.
Court documents show that Jones was charged in connection with an incident in Santa Cruz on May 14, 2025.
She was accused of being in a public place while under the influence of toluene, a type of inhaled solvent known for its euphoric effects, according to the National Institutes of Health.
The case was still active at the time of her death, with a pretrial meeting set for January 27.
Jones had also dealt with other legal problems in recent years.
In April, she was arrested in a separate drug case and was found to be in possession of cocaine illegally. She was offered a plea deal that required her to enter a treatment program for sobriety, but she didn’t live to appear in court.
After her death, her family issued a short statement asking for privacy.
"We appreciate all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers," the statement said. "Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you."
