The Giallorossi want to finalize the transfer quickly and are hoping to get a striker in place by early January.

Roma really needs to improve their attacking options and isn’t willing to wait around.

But things are getting tricky because Manchester United, under Ruben Amorim, isn’t keen on reducing their squad, especially with the Africa Cup of Nations coming up and possible transfers on the horizon.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the English club seems ready to slow things down, which could push back the deal.

Right now, the only way to speed things up would be if Zirkzee himself asks to leave Manchester United, but there’s no sign of that happening yet.

The situation is getting more complicated, with Roma wanting to wrap things up quickly and Manchester United holding firm, at least until things look better.

So the next few weeks will be important, as how the talks progress could determine whether the deal happens. Zirkzee has played eight games and scored one goal in the Premier League so far.
