MOROCCO beat Jordan 3-2 in extra time to win the Arab Cup on Thursday. Two goals from Abderrazzaq Hamed Allah, plus a brilliant long-range strike from Oussama Tannane, helped them secure the victory.

Morocco took the lead after just four minutes when Tannane struck from the center circle, surprising goalkeeper Yazeed Abulaila.
Jordan, preparing for their World Cup debut in 2026, responded with two goals in the second half.
Ali Olwan scored first with a header in the 48th minute and then again from a penalty in the 68th.
Hamed Allah scored three minutes before the end of regular time, forcing extra time.
He then netted the winning goal from close range. Morocco had another good result despite missing several players who play in Europe.
They became the first African and Arab nation to reach the World Cup semi-finals—also in Qatar three years ago—where they beat Spain and Portugal before losing to France.
Morocco won the Under-20 World Cup in October by defeating Argentina 2-0, making them the first Arab team to win the tournament.
Their Under-17 squad reached the World Cup quarter-finals, while the Under-23 team won the Africa Cup of Nations and qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics, where they earned a bronze medal.
Morocco is set to host the Africa Cup of Nations from December 21st to January 18th.
