KENYA has a new queen—and a fresh dream on the world stage. Ivy Trizah Muhenje has been named Miss World Kenya 2026, marking a big moment that means more than just a change in title. It represents the start of a bold new chapter for Kenya in the Miss World competition.

The announcement came on Friday, December 19, 2025, during a special and meaningful crowning event held by the Mr and Miss World Kenya franchise at the Holiday Inn, Two Rivers.
The ceremony was held in a setting that focused on purpose rather than just style, showing a shift toward aiming for impact, being well-prepared, and competing globally.
The organizers said this is the start of a new era called “Beauty with a Purpose,” which focuses on being ready, speaking up for important issues, and achieving high standards on the world stage.
Even though the Miss World global schedule is still not clear and there are reports that the world finals might happen as early as March, the franchise made the decision to act quickly to make sure Kenya isn’t left out.
By choosing Ivy early, the organization has given her and her team more time to prepare thoroughly.
This includes a strict training program, choosing the right clothes, and building her Beauty with a Purpose project—three important parts that help Kenya be ready for the 73rd Miss World global finals.
Even though this year’s crowning was different from usual, the franchise confirmed that the Grand Finale will still happen at the end of 2026, where the Miss World Kenya 2027 winner will be announced.
