According to police, Munishra Rawat, the wife of Tehbahadur Rawat, was taken to the clinic on December 5 after she reported abdominal pain.

She was told to have surgery at the facility.

Investigators claim that during the operation at Shri Damodar Aushdhalaya in Kothi, the clinic owner, Gyan Prakash Mishra, used a YouTube tutorial for guidance, with his nephew helping him.

Police also say that Mishra was drunk during the procedure.

The Times of India reports that the surgery went wrong when multiple veins were cut, causing serious complications. The woman's condition got worse, and she died the next day on December 6.

After the incident, police started an investigation and arrested both the clinic owner and his nephew.

Officials confirmed that the clinic was operating illegally and that the owner had no legal right to perform medical procedures.

The case has highlighted the dangers of unqualified and unlicensed medical practitioners running illegal clinics.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing as police work to find out the full details of the woman's death.
