FC Midtjylland's Guinean international striker Franculino Dju will miss the rest of the month of February and part of March after having surgery, the club announced on its website.

After suffering an injury during a match away against Viborg, Franculino had minor surgery.
The operation went smoothly, and he is now beginning his recovery process with the support of FC Midtjylland's medical team, the club stated on their website.
This season, Franculino has been one of the team's key players and is currently the top goal scorer in the Danish Superliga with 16 goals in 17 matches, and 21 goals in 30 matches overall.
He is anticipated to return to action sometime in March.
