The accident happened on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

The bus, which was traveling to Kampala, hit a motorbike and killed both riders instantly.

Soon after, boda boda riders arrived at the scene and started attacking the bus driver.

They then set the bus on fire.

The incident caused a big traffic jam on the busy road, making motorists look for other routes.

The bus was completely destroyed by the fire, leaving only a metal frame. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack.

Videos of the event, shared widely on social media, showed the bus fully engulfed in flames as people watched from a distance.

The footage also showed heavy traffic on the highway, with many cars waiting in line as traffic police arrived to manage the situation.

The Motorists Association of Kenya (MAK) has criticized the incident and asked the National Police Service (NPS) to take action against those responsible.

This event has led to new worries about boda boda riders using mob violence, such as burning vehicles, after small accidents.

Just a month ago, a 33-seater minibus was set on fire after its driver hit a person in Juja, Kiambu County.

The accident took place on Thika Road near Juja town.

The minibus struck a man, killing him immediately. The victim is believed to have been a tout who often works at bus stops.

The incident quickly drew attention from boda boda riders and local residents, who confronted the driver before setting the bus on fire.

The road, which connects Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) to Kiambu County, was badly affected by the traffic disruption, forcing drivers to use other routes.
