Silva, considered one of the best center-backs of his generation, is coming to Porto after two seasons with Fluminense in his home country, Brazil.

Porto called Silva a "Dragon," referencing the club's nickname.

This move brings him full circle in his career, as he previously played for Porto's youth team during the 2004-05 season.

He then went on to Dynamo Moscow, Fluminense, AC Milan, where he won a Serie A title, and then moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2012.

He left PSG in 2020 after winning seven French league titles and joined Chelsea, where he helped the team win the Champions League at Porto's Estadio do Dragao stadium.

Throughout his career, Silva has won a total of 32 trophies, and he could soon add another as Porto currently leads the Primeira Liga by five points.
