Beyoncé Joins the Billionaire Club and Here’s How She Compares to Music’s Richest Stars

Beyoncé has officially become a billionaire, according to Forbes, joining a small group of musicians who have reached this milestone through their music, tours, and business activities. She is now the fifth musician confirmed to have achieved billionaire status, alongside her husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen.

Beyoncé's success has largely come from the scale of her recent tours and her control over her creative work.

Her 2023 Renaissance World Tour made over $500 million, while her 2024 Cowboy Carter Tour earned more than $400 million, making it the highest-grossing country tour in history, according to Pollstar.

While Taylor Swift's Eras Tour remains the highest-grossing tour of all time, surpassing $1 billion, Beyoncé's touring achievements stand out for their efficiency and appeal across different music genres.

Unlike Swift's multi-year tour, Beyoncé reached billionaire status through a mix of fewer, more impactful tours, film releases, and ownership interests.

Her concert film, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, topped the US box office on its opening weekend in December 2023, earning $21 million.

In 2024, she released Cowboy Carter, a country album that won Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where she also won three other awards.

Forbes highlighted Beyoncé's business structure as a key factor in her wealth.

She founded Parkwood Entertainment in 2010, a company that handles her music, films, and live shows in-house, allowing her to maintain creative control and a larger share of the profits.

BBeyoncé's billionaire status places her in a rare group within the music industry, showing not just commercial success, but also long-term ownership and strategic control, a model that is increasingly influencing the modern pop economy.
