AMERICAN YOUTUBER ISHOWSPEED ANNOUNCES KENYAN VISIT IN HIS 2026 AFRICA TOUR

AMERICAN YouTuber IShowSpeed has shared news about a planned visit to Kenya as part of his upcoming 2026 Africa tour. The creator, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr, hails from Cincinnati and has built a massive following online. He recently announced his "Speed Does Africa" tour, a 28-day live-streamed adventure that will take him through about 20 African countries, starting late December 2025 and running into January 2026.

The tour will begin on December 29, 2025, and will be streamed live on his YouTube and Twitch channels.

Kenya is one of the stops on the schedule, where Watkins is expected to participate in a variety of events and local experiences. The trailer he posted on Instagram lists several other destinations, including Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, and Morocco, among others.

This tour is considered one of the biggest projects in the creator economy so far, especially for long-form live content.

It follows his previous IRL tours in the U.S. and Southeast Asia. With a global fan base that numbers in the tens of millions, his travels have already created viral moments on social media and generated excitement among his fans who are eagerly waiting to see him.

Although the full daily schedule hasn't been released yet, early details suggest that the Kenyan part of the tour will be part of a broader East African trip.

This leg of the tour is expected to include fan meet-ups, live reactions, and culturally rich content, all designed to offer something unpredictable and exciting.

IShowSpeed has become a global hit because of his energetic, unpredictable, and sometimes chaotic content.

His success is largely due to live streaming, where he dominates platforms like YouTube and Twitch with his In-Real-Life adventures. He often travels to different countries, interacting with fans on the spot and creating content that feels right there in the moment.

In 2024, he made headlines by setting a record with over a million viewers watching him live stream from Indonesia.

He's also known for his gaming skills, having first gained attention for playing popular games like NBA 2K, Fortnite, and Talking Ben.
