CHELSEA’S LIAM DELAP SUFFERS NEW SHOULDER BLOW IN GOALLESS DRAW AT BOURNEMOUTH

CHELSEA'S LIAM Delap has suffered another injury problem after being substituted in the first half of the team's 0-0 Premier League match against Bournemouth. The manager, Enzo Maresca, said Delap has a shoulder injury, which could mean he misses a lot of games.

Delap, who moved to Chelsea from Ipswich Town in June, has had a tough season so far.

He was out for two months because of a hamstring injury and only came back recently. Maresca is upset about the timing, as the team needs a traditional number nine striker, and this new injury is a big blow.

The draw on Saturday was Chelsea's first goalless game since August.

Maresca admitted the team wasn't sharp enough in attack. He pointed out that missed passes and slow decision-making in front of goal were the main reasons they didn't get any points. Now, Chelsea are fourth in the league with 25 points from 15 games.

The team will now prepare for a big Champions League match against Atalanta on Tuesday.

They will play against Everton in the Premier League next weekend. With Delap's injury situation unclear, Maresca might need to change his attacking plans again.
